Courtney O’Brien-Ernest, PsyD is a certified school psychologist and educational specialist who performs psychoeducational evaluations and targeted educational evaluations for children and adolescents. Courtney also conducts individual therapy and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She specializes in ADHD, social cognition, and anxiety and depressive disorders.
Courtney’s previous experience in the Bedford Central school district (NY) has provided extensive knowledge of Response to Intervention, Individualized Educational Plans, Functional Behavior Assessments and the implementation of evidence based interventions, counseling, and staff consultation. Courtney has worked with a variety of children in mainstream, collaborative and self-contained environments. She earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology at James Madison University and her Masters of Education from Long Island University, and her Doctorate in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
