Jason Dean, M.D. is a child and adult psychiatrist who specializes in combining psychotherapy and medication to help children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, and behavioral difficulties.
He takes a developmental approach to uncover and address the underlying causes of symptoms, providing treatment in the context of a child’s developing personality and family dynamics.
He also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, psychosis, ADHD, and psychological issues.
Dr. Dean received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then completed his adult psychiatry residency at Harvard University and his child psychiatry fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center.
